David MacAdam's original music is heavily influenced by the Marine Industry and his career as a Tug Captain. He is known for his Marine / Music Presentations on Historical Marine stories.
One of his Music Performances revolves around The Great Lakes Storm of 1913. Some 260 souls were lost on Nov 9th and 10th, 1913. Every Great Lake Experienced the wrath of this storm. Twelve ships were lost with "All Hands" across the lakes.
Although every story is tragic , 8 of the 12 ships were lost on Lake Huron. This hits home with David's writing as he was born and raised in Goderich Ontario. His Great Great Grandfather, (Captain John "Minister" MacDonald) would have been involved in the aftermath and tragedy that washed up on the Canadian Shore of Lake Huron.
